Vintage & Classic Fantasy Board Games
Some of these games might even be obscure for board game enthusiasts, but I threw a 20-side die or two in my day. While Dungeon and Dragons and their ilk are the most instantly recognizable fantasy and role playing games in this category, don't forget about other classics like Mystery Date and Thunder Road.
And no fantasy category would be complete without at least a mention of the Star Wars gameboard. Back before licensing deals were bigger moneymakers than the films themselves, it wasn't nearly as common to see these kinds of promotional tie-ins. Thankfully, George Lucas needed a new car, and we now have the classic Star Wars game to add to our libraries.
